MUNCHKIN is an international design venture, founded in Singapore in 2004 by German architect and designer Silke Stevens. We offer innovative Interior and Product Design based on the principles of customer-oriented service and intricate detailing.

Silke graduated with a diploma in architecture from the internationally-renowned University of Aachen, Germany, in 2004.

Working independently as an interior designer in Singapore, she has won wide recognition for her work and continues to challenge traditional design solutions with her unique approach.

Silke was able to gain valuable experience in her field when she worked for award-winning Singapore architects such as Ed Poole (Poole Associates) and Guz Wilkinson (Guz Architects) in 2002.

Silke’s background, work and travel experiences continue to provide an inspiration for her designs.

William graduated in 1999 with a BA and MA in Oriental Studies (Japanese) from Keble College, Oxford and also studied at Kwansei Gakuin University in Nishinomiya, Japan. William’s background is in finance and banking in both Europe and Asia and he is responsible for Munchkin’s financial health.

His main role is not only to deliver cost-effective and value-driven solutions for MUNCHKIN’s clients, but also to further promote the company in new Asian markets, particularly Japan.
